Description / Scope of Work
The National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD), Karachi is inviting bids for the supply and installation of Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) equipment as specified in the tender list. This single-stage, one-envelope procurement follows Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010 (Amended 2019) Rule 46(1). The tender reference is NIT No. NICVD/TN/Khi/No.004/26-27 dated 08/10/2026. Bidding documents were available from 18 September 2026 to 08 October 2026 at 10:30 a.m. The equipment will be delivered at NICVD's premises in Karachi, Sindh, on the supplier's risk and cost.
Eligible bidders must be manufacturers, importers or their duly authorized distributors registered at ePADS SPPRA. Supplies must be sourced from eligible countries as defined under the Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010 (Amended 2019). Bidders must provide samples three days before tender opening for all quoted items (except those already in use at NICVD), submit a guarantee certificate that items are new, and include detailed technical specifications with catalogues, manufacturer names, country of origin and registration numbers. Last year's paid Income Tax Certificate and Sales Tax Registration Certificate must accompany technical bids. Local supplies must be delivered within 30 days; imported goods within 90 days. Prices quoted remain fixed during the fiscal year.
Bid documents are available from NICVD and must be submitted electronically through the ePADS SPPRA portal. All bidders must register at ePADS SPPRA before submission. The procurement covers CSSD equipment supply and installation with delivery at NICVD's Karachi facility. Documentation for imported items including proof of custom duties and paid taxes must be attached at delivery, or payment will be withheld and the tender rejected.
