The Punjab Highway Department (North Zone) is inviting bids for the widening and improvement of a major road corridor extending from Gujranwala Bypass at Awan Chowk to the M-2 Khanqah Dogran Interchange via Ajnianwala Link, Nowshera Virkan including bypass construction. The total project length is 66 kilometres, with Phase-I comprising 15.50 kilometres in District Gujranwala. This is a significant infrastructure development project managed by the Executive Engineer, Road Construction Division, Gujranwala, located at Min G.T Road Near Sheikhupura More, Bus Stop Gujranwala. The scope covers road widening, improvement works, and bypass construction to enhance transportation connectivity in the region.
Bidders must hold a valid Professional Engineers Council (PEC) license for the financial year 2024-25, provide CNIC of the firm's proprietor, FBR and NTN certificates, PRA registration certificate, and professional tax deposit challan. Performance security must be furnished as per PPRA Rule-56. According to PPRA Punjab Circular No. L&M(PPRA)10-1/2011/008595 dated 11 October 2024 and subsequent clarification dated 3 January 2025, bidders must quote item-wise rates and total amounts against each item with a grand total of all items; percentage-based quotations above or below the approved cost will not be accepted.
