Description / Scope of Work
Water and Sanitation Agency, Lahore (WASA), Punjab Water and Sanitation Authority invites sealed bids from eligible suppliers and contractors for the provision of a rental generator with capacity 1000-KVA to be installed at Wagah Disposal Station in Lahore, Punjab. The estimated cost of this procurement is Rs. 4,713,427.20. This is a single-stage two-envelope bidding procedure conducted through the Punjab e-Procurement System, with bid submission closing on 3 October 2026 at 10:30 AM and opening at 11:00 AM the same day.
Eligibility requirements include valid PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council) License in category C-6 or above, active registration on the Punjab e-Procurement System, current NTN (National Tax Number) and PNTN (Punjab Tax Number) filer status, and a PRA (Pakistan Rating Agency) Certificate. Bidders must also furnish an NTN certificate from the concerned Income Tax Office. The digital bid security required is 3 percent of the estimated cost, amounting to Rs. 141,403, to be verified on the Punjab e-Procurement System until the bid submission deadline. Bids prepared in accordance with the bidding document instructions must be submitted electronically as PDF files only; manual bids will not be accepted.
Bidding documents are available on the Punjab e-Procurement System at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/ and the PPRA website at http://ppra.punjab.gov.pk. All bidders must quote rates as a percentage above or below the schedule of rates for standardized items. E-stamp paper worth Rs. 8,000 according to Stamp Act Article 22-A(iii) is required. Bids remain valid for 120 days. Opening will occur at XEN-II(Maintenance), WASA, Lahore, located opposite 23 Main Gulberg, Pani Wali Tanki No. 1, Lahore. For grievances, bidders may lodge complaints on the Punjab e-Procurement System within ten days of the bid evaluation report announcement.
