Description / Scope of Work
The Public Health Engineering Division, District Bahawalnagar, invites sealed tenders for two distinct infrastructure projects in Bahawalnagar, Punjab. The first project involves providing and laying Tuff pavers with 7000 PSI crushing strength at Zainab Medicare Hospital, with earthwork excavation, sand cushioning and paving work totalling approximately 7970 square feet and 1030 cubic feet of brick work in foundation and plinth. The second project requires provision of a complete water supply pipe line system in Chak No 124/6R, Bahawalnagar, including trench excavation, PVC/Upvc pipe laying with testing, sluice valves, connection fittings, and specials, covering 6500 cubic feet of trench work and 1000 running feet of pipe installation. The estimated total cost for both projects is Rs 2,149,887 with earnest money of Rs 107,494. The time limit for completion is 31 January 2027.
Eligibility requirements state that conditional tenders shall not be entertained. Bidders must quote rates correctly and submit complete E-bids online on the Punjab e-Procurement System. Bid security equal to 5 percent of the estimated cost must be submitted online as per the procedure established in the Punjab e-Procurement System in collaboration with Bank of Punjab. Performance guarantee of up to 10 percent may be required and submitted to the Honourable Supreme Court of Pakistan as directed. All conditions of the Revised Contract Agreement and the DNIT shall form part of the binding agreement with the contractor.
Bid documents are obtainable from the office of the Executive Engineer, Public Health Engineering Division, Bahawalnagar. Bidders must submit complete E-bids online on the Punjab e-Procurement System only. Work shall commence within one week from the issuance of letter of acceptance at the discretion of the contractor. Any omission of completion or error in interpretation shall be referred to standardised rates posted on the finance department website. Execution must strictly follow specifications, approved designs, drawings and contract requirements, with the engineer-in-charge holding exclusive responsibility for contractor performance. Final payment will be released after testing and completion of work.
