Description / Scope of Work
The CM Punjab Green Credit Program, under the Environment Protection & Climate Change Department of the Government of the Punjab, invites proposals from qualified consultancy firms for the development of an Emission Trading System (ETS). This consultancy engagement involves designing and establishing a comprehensive ETS framework to support Punjab's climate change mitigation objectives and green credit initiatives. The project is being procured by the provincial government's environmental authority and represents a strategic environmental governance initiative aimed at creating market-based mechanisms for emissions reduction across industrial and commercial sectors in Punjab province. Eligible consultancy firms must demonstrate substantial experience in emissions trading system design, carbon market development, and climate change policy implementation. Proposals must be submitted by qualified firms registered with relevant professional bodies, with demonstrated track records in similar environmental policy and market system projects.
