The District Council Dadu invites open-outcry auction for Rent and Occupancy Value of commercial units under construction at Bilawal Arcade in Dadu, Sindh. The notice covers eight units in the Northern Commercial Section (six units of 26x31 square feet with initial bid value rate of Rs. 7000 per square foot) and two units in the IL-Bilawal Arcade section (unit IA-28 of 12x26 square feet and unit IA-30 of 12x48 square feet with initial bid value rate of Rs. 6050 per square foot). The auction will determine the rental and occupancy rights for the respective commercial spaces. The competitive bidding process is governed by Sindh Local Councils (Property) Rules 2017, Sindh Local Council (Contract) Rules 2016, and Sindh Public Procurement Rules (SPPR).
Auction participation tokens will be issued to individuals, partnerships, and firms possessing legal capacity, valid CNIC, and NTN or business registration proof with active tax filing status. Bid security equivalent to 5% of the offered Occupancy Value must be provided per unit via pay order, demand draft, or deposit at certificate from a scheduled bank in favor of the Chairman District Council Dadu. Payment of Occupancy Value and installation security totaling 50% exclusive of bid security must be made at the time of auction from the bidder's own bank account, with the remaining 50% payable within two months of possession.
The auction will be held on 07-10-2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the District Council Office in Dadu. Possession of allocated units follows completion of construction and full payment documentation. Monthly rent begins from the possession date at 0.30% of the auctioned/approved Occupancy Value. All applicable taxes, government dues, documentation charges, and other incidental costs are the responsibility of the successful bidder. Restaurants' layout plans, drawings, and business details must be provided. The District Council reserves the right to cancel the auction without assigning reason.
