Description / Scope of Work
DESCON Engineering Limited invites sealed tenders for the sale of miscellaneous scrap, tools, vehicles and fixed assets at the Guddu Barrage Project located near Kashmore in Punjab. The sale comprises a diverse inventory including bulk head frames and gates hoisting equipment, used sheet piles, miscellaneous mild steel scrap, exploration and production parts, used engine oil, batteries, tyres, hand tools such as angle grinders, lifting belts and sling wire, centrifugal pump, used furniture and fixtures including almirah, chairs, fans, geyser, CPU, printer, UPS and air conditioning units, welding rectifiers and refrigerators. Additionally, two Toyota pickup double cabin vehicles of model years 2005 and 2006 are included in the sale. This represents a one-time disposal of surplus and obsolete assets from the project.
Intending bidders must obtain the tender form from the site office at Guddu Barrage Project or the head office in Lahore. Tender submissions must include a security deposit of 10 percent of the bid value. Withholding tax will be levied at the rate of 10 percent for registered filers and 20 percent for non-filers as per statutory regulations. Bidders should ensure compliance with all applicable tax and regulatory requirements.
