Kitchen and Electric Works Renovation for 5 Hostels and Admin Block – Punjab Building Department

The Punjab Building Department (Central Zone) invites item-rate tenders for renovation of kitchen and electric works across five hostel buildings, an administrative block, and a D.G. block / academic block at the Child Protection & Welfare Bureau in Lahore, Punjab. The estimated cost of the work is PKR 9.986 million with a project duration of three months. This is a single-stage, single-envelope electronic bidding process. Contractors and firms must be currently enlisted or renewed with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the financial year 2026–27 in category C-6 and above, holding specialization codes CE10 (Civil Engineering) and EE-04 (Electrical Engineering). Bid security of 5 percent of the bid amount must be submitted through the Punjab State Initiation and Data (PSID) system via electronic procurement; no physical financial instruments such as call deposit receipts will be accepted. Successful bidders are required to furnish a performance guarantee equivalent to 10 percent of the bid amount in the form of a call deposit receipt, bank cashier cheque, or bank guarantee from any scheduled bank, to be submitted to the Executive Engineer 4th Buildings Division Lahore within 15 days of letter issuance, as per Clause 56 of the PPRA Act 2016. Complete electronic bids must be submitted online through the e-Procurement System portal at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk by 10 October 2026 at 11:00 a.m., with opening scheduled immediately thereafter at 11:30 a.m. Bidding documents are available immediately upon publication of this notice.
