IESCO, the Islamabad Electric Supply Company, invites sealed electronic bids for the disposal of vehicles on an as-is-where-is basis under Tender No. 86. The tender is open to qualified bidders and covers multiple vehicles to be disposed of through competitive bidding. Bidders must submit sealed bids with earnest money in the form of bank guarantees or CDRs valid for 120 days, issued by scheduled banks of Pakistan with a rating of A+ or above, in favour of the Chief Executive Officer IESCO. The scope of disposal includes various vehicle lots, with each vehicle listed separately in the tender schedule. This disposal is conducted in accordance with PPRA Disposal Regulations, 2026, and is open to all eligible registered entities without geographic restriction within Pakistan.
Eligibility requirements mandate that bidders submit earnest money in their own names before bid closing, with bids not supported by required earnest money being rejected outright. Bidders must declare that their firm is not blacklisted by NGC, WAPDA, DISCOs, GENCOs or any government department or organisation. The undertaking must be submitted on Rs. 50 judicial stamp paper and signed by the bidder on each page. Bidders are required to inspect vehicles personally and satisfy themselves regarding condition, type and quality; no claims shall lie with IESCO after disposal. Payment must be made unconditionally within 10 working days of issuance of Letter of Acceptance, failing which earnest money will be forfeited.
Bid documents are available from the Material Management Directorate at IESCO Head Quarters, Islamabad. Bidders must submit bids before the closing date of 6 October 2026. Upon acceptance, IESCO will issue a Release Order, and successful bidders must remove the vehicle from the site within 15 working days; failure to do so will attract rental charges at 1 percent per day of the vehicle's total value. All government taxes including 18 percent GST and 10 percent income tax are applicable on the offered price and shall be paid by the bidder. Payment must be submitted to Finance Directorate IESCO in the form of CDR in favour of the Chief Executive Officer IESCO; payment in any other form will not be accepted.
