PITAC Regional Centre Gilgit invites sealed competitive bids from reputed service provider firms for providing security manpower through service contract. The contract scope encompasses the provision of two security guards on day and night shift basis for the PITAC office located at Ehsan Ali Road, Kashrote in Gilgit, Gilgit-Baltistan. The initial contract period is one year, extendable for another year based on satisfactory performance. Security guards must be ex-servicemen of the Pakistan Army, preferably from fighting arms including infantry, artillery or armored corps. Guards will be equipped with 12-bore pump-action firearms and shall provide security-related intelligence, vigilance and guarding duties round the clock, including gazetted and Eid holidays. PITAC reserves the right to increase or decrease manpower strength or request additional staff as operational requirements demand.
Bidders must hold a valid NTN and submit an attested copy of a license obtained from the Home or Labour department; failure to provide this documentation will result in bid disqualification. The contracting agency must ensure payment to employees by the 10th of each month and shall comply with all statutory obligations including applicable taxes. In Gilgit-Baltistan, a tax-exempted area, Service Tax and other applicable taxes shall be quoted separately by the bidder. All candidates provided must undergo PITAC scrutiny through personal interview; bidders should submit three to four biodatas for each position. Candidates will receive identity cards valid for the contract duration.
Bidders must submit monthly rate quotations for eight-hour shifts including all applicable taxes in the prescribed format. Each bidder may submit only one bid, valid for a minimum of 90 days after the submission deadline. Payment to the contracting agency will be released within 30 days of receiving invoices accompanied by proof of staff disbursement and statutory tax payments. Remuneration will be disbursed by cheque and shall remain fixed throughout the contract period except for statutory amendments.
