Karachi Metropolitan University invites sealed bids for the procurement of Health Insurance Services through e-procurement online submission under the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure as per SPPRA Rules 2010. The contract is for hiring a firm to provide comprehensive health insurance services to the university community. The estimated contract value is PKR 800,000 with a completion period of twelve months, initially commencing from the university's main campus in North Nazimabad, Karachi, Sindh. Reputed firms must be registered and active taxpayers with applicable tax authorities (NTN and SRB) and demonstrate relevant experience and capabilities in health insurance provision. Bidders are required to submit valid certificates of NTN and SRB registration along with all required documents as specified in the bidding documents. The bid security amount is fixed at PKR 800,000 in the form of a Call Deposit, Pay Order, Bank Draft, or Bank Guarantee issued by a scheduled bank of Pakistan, payable in favor of Karachi Metropolitan University. All prescribed taxes under Federal, Provincial, and Local Government shall be borne by the bidder or supplier.
Tender documents can be obtained during office hours from the Procurement Department, KMU, ST-2 Block M, North Nazimabad, Karachi (UAN: 111-111-568) upon payment of the tender fee of PKR 5,000 in the form of a pay order in favor of the university. Bid submission is exclusively through the SPPRA ePADS platform at https://eprocure.gov.pk/ with the deadline for submission on 08 October 2026 at 10:00 AM. Tender opening shall occur on the same date at 10:30 AM online through ePADs. All terms and conditions of SPPRA/ePADS shall apply.
