Description / Scope of Work
Heavy Industries Taxila, operating under the Supply Chain Management Directorate in Taxila Cantt, Federal, invites sealed bids for the procurement of raw material on a FOR (Free on Rail) basis. The tender reference is Bid No. 1755/IT-8202/2026-27/FOR (Gp-III)/SPF/SCM dated 16 September 2026. The procurement is being conducted through a Single Stage Two Envelope bidding process in accordance with PPRA and Ministry of Defence Production rules. Delivery is scheduled for two months following the signing of the contract. This is a government procurement exercise open to eligible manufacturers, authorized dealers, distributors, and suppliers.
Bidders must possess a valid National Tax Number (NTN) and Sales Tax Registration where applicable. Eligible firms must submit documentation including photocopies of registration or pre-qualification letters from HIT, DGP, or relevant government organizations; attested copies of registration certificates and NTN certificates; audit reports for the last three financial years; attested bank statements for the past year; attested CNIC of the CEO or Director; trade links with OEM for distributors or agents; a judicial paper certificate worth Rs 100 attested by an Oath Commissioner confirming the firm is not blacklisted or debarred; and documentary evidence of contracts executed in the last three financial years with government or semi-government organizations. A postal order of Rs 2000 must accompany the technical bid.
