Description / Scope of Work
Wah Brass Mill, a production unit of Wah Industries Limited, invites sealed quotations for the procurement of Filter Elements (Quantity 04 Items) through foreign purchase. This tender enquiry references TE No. 13-FP-FILTER ELEMENT-PUR-WBM-2026-27 dated 24 September 2026 and requires submission of technical and commercial bids in separate sealed envelopes. The procurement is being conducted under a single-stage two-envelope bidding method, with quotations to be delivered before 1100 hours on 28 October 2026 to the Bid Centre at POF's Wah Cantt. All delivery and detailed specifications are outlined in the Schedule of Tender provided at page 5 of this notice.
Bidders must provide evidence of their technical capability through literature, brochures, delivery schedules, and signed undertakings. Quotations shall remain valid for a minimum of 90 days from the tender opening date. Firms are prohibited from submitting conditional or alternative offers. All quotations must be based on CPT Islamabad or CFR Karachi values inclusive of airworthy or seaworthy packing. Preferred dispatch shall be via Pakistan International Airline (PIA) or Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC); alternative carriers may be used only if PIA and PNSC services are unavailable, but Indian and Israeli airlines and vessels are strictly excluded. Insurance charges are borne by WBM. Submission through agents in Pakistan is discouraged; any such submission must be accompanied by an original Proforma Invoice from the principal manufacturer.
The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Guarantee at the rate of 10 percent of CFR value (unless the total CFR value is less than US$ 50,000) in the form of a pay order or unconditional bank guarantee on a prescribed proforma, valid for 12 months after letter of credit expiry. Payment shall be made via irrevocable letter of credit, with 90 percent released upon receipt of shipping documents and 10 percent balance upon delivery and acceptance at WBM premises. Suppliers bear all bank charges related to payment drawing and LC confirmation.
