A public auction will be conducted on 13 October 2026 at 10:00 am in the office of the Director at the Water Management Research Centre, PARS, Jhang Road, Faisalabad, Punjab. The auction includes farm produce and crops such as wheat straw, millet, maize, sorghum, linseed, canola, chickpea (white and black), paddy rice kainat, and sorghum chaff fodder in quantities ranging from 3 mounds to 21 mounds. Additionally, miscellaneous items including 16 solar panels, a 4 kilowatt VFD unit in scrap aluminium form, and 75 kilograms of scrap iron will be offered for sale. The total scope encompasses agricultural commodities and salvage materials being disposed by the research centre. Eligible bidders must submit a valid CNIC and pay a security fee of Rs 50,000, refundable for unsuccessful bidders. Advance tax will be collected from the highest bidder at 10 percent for filers and 20 percent for non-filers of the gross sale value. One-third of the total gross sale value will be received on the spot, with the remaining amount and tax payable after competent authority approval. Farm produces and crops can be inspected during office hours prior to the auction. The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject the auction. Disposal of all items will be on an as-is, where-is basis without warranties.
