The Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Faisalabad invites sealed bids for the procurement of four high-speed document scanners under single-stage two-envelope bidding via the Punjab E-Procurement System (eP). The total estimated value of the tender is PKR 8,86,70,000. Bidders must meet minimum specifications including 130–140 PPM throughput at 300 dpi for colour and black & white scanning with barcode capability, document feeding capacity of 500 sheets or above, USB 2.0/3.0 or higher connectivity, and daily duty cycle of 55,000 sheets. Equipment must originate from USA, Europe or Japan and feature a straight paper path for bulk scanning. The scanner must handle document thickness up to 250 gsm or above for educational certificates and hard documents, with operator control via touch screen panel. Consumables warranty covers 15 million scans with 3 years manufacturer warranty. All bidders must quote rates inclusive of all taxes on F.O.R basis. Bid security at 5 percent of the estimated value must be submitted online through the Punjab E-Procurement System in collaboration with Bank of Punjab.
