Indigenous Supplies Procurement by Pakistan Ordnance Factories

Bidders must possess appropriate business registration and professional tax clearance certificates. A non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 500 is required, payable by crossed postal order or pay order in favour of Director-Admin-POFs, Wah Cantt. Bid security is mandatory, ranging from 2% to 5% of quoted value depending on firm registration status, with maximum ceilings of Rs. 0.5 million for indexed firms, Rs. 0.75 million for un-indexed firms, and Rs. 1.0 million for unregistered firms. Government organizations and welfare projects may request waiver of bid security. Suppliers must furnish certificates confirming clearance of all Professional Tax liabilities, and environmental hazard information must be provided in quotations and shipping documents.

Quotations must remain valid for at least 90 days from tender opening and must be based on F.O.R. station of dispatch, inclusive of packing and forwarding charges. Taxes and duties must be shown separately with relevant registration and authority references. Free delivery is required at POF's Sanjwal stores, with octroi duty payable by the supplier. Supplies will be subject to inspection and acceptance by the competent inspection authority at purchaser's cost, with inspection facilities to be provided by suppliers. Tender opening occurs at the Bid Centre adjacent to Rabita Hall, POF Wah Cantt on 15 October 2026 at 12:00 hours.
