Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) invites sealed quotations for indigenous supplies under tender reference 0254/LP/SJL/56 dated 22 July 2026. This open competitive bidding is conducted through single stage two envelope method as per PPRA Rule 36(b). The tender is for materials to be delivered free on rail (F.O.R. station of dispatch basis) with free delivery at POF's stores at Sanjwal in Punjab province, inclusive of packing and forwarding charges. Quotations must include prices in column 5 and delivery dates in column 7 of the tender schedule, with taxes and duties shown separately citing relevant registration and authority references. Stores will be booked under Military Credit Note provided by the purchaser, and octroi duty shall be payable by the supplier.
Eligible bidders must submit bid security in the form of deposit at call receipt, pay order or banker cheque from a scheduled bank drawn in favour of GM PPC POF Sanjwal. Security amounts vary by firm registration status: registered/indexed firms must provide 2% of quoted value (ceiling Rs. 0.5 million), registered/unindexed firms 3% (ceiling Rs. 0.75 million), unregistered firms 5% (ceiling Rs. 1.00 million), and government organizations/state-owned enterprises Rs. 0.50 million which may be waived on request by DG(C). A non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 500 via crossed postal or pay order in favour of Director-Admin-POFs, Wah Cantt is mandatory. Suppliers must furnish a professional tax clearance certificate from the Excise & Taxation department; offers without this certificate will be rejected. Tender samples are required strictly per specification unless the firm is established and reputable with previous satisfactory supply history.
Quotations must be submitted electronically on www.ebidding.pof.gov.pk before 11:00 hours on 15 October 2026 (30 minutes before opening). The tender will be opened at the Bid Centre adjacent to Rabita Hall, POF Wah Cantt. Quotations must remain valid for at least 90 days from commercial tender opening, extendable if desired, and hold good for any reduced or enhanced quantities. Conditional or alternative offers will be ignored. Supplies are subject to inspection and acceptance by the purchaser's competent inspection authority at the supplier's cost, with inspection facilities and equipment to be provided by suppliers per specifications. Successful bidders must provide a performance bond not exceeding 10% of contract value within the specified period.
