Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF), Wah Cantt, Punjab, invites quotations for indigenous supplies under Tender Enquiry No. 0299/LP/SJL/56 dated 11 May 2026. The procurement falls under the POF 1262-A category and is open to open competitive bidding using the single-stage two-envelope method as per PPRA Rule 36(b). Quotations must be submitted electronically on www.ebidding.pof.gov.pk before 30 minutes prior to the opening time of 12:00 hours on 15 October 2026. The tender will be opened at the Bid Centre adjacent to Rabita Hall, POF Wah Cantt. Quotations must remain valid for at least 90 days from the opening date and should hold good for any reduced or enhanced quantities without notice.
For materials, bidders must submit prices in column 5 and delivery dates in column 7 of the tender schedule. For plant and machinery, a two-part submission is required: Part I containing only technical details, literature, validity date and delivery schedule without price; Part II containing commercial terms including price, payment terms and supply mode. All quotations must be based on F.O.R. station of dispatch basis with free delivery at POF stores at Sanjwal, inclusive of packing and forwarding charges. Taxes and duties must be shown separately with proper references. Inspection will be conducted by the competent inspection authority at the supplier's cost, though POF will provide inspection facilities. Supplies are subject to warranty or guarantee as deemed necessary, with rejected stores replaced at supplier expense within a specified timeframe.
Bid security must accompany the tender as a deposit at call receipt, pay order or banker's cheque from a scheduled bank in favour of GM PPC POF Sanjwal. Registered/indexed firms must provide 2% of quoted value (maximum Rs. 0.5 million), registered/unindexed firms 3% (maximum Rs. 0.75 million), and unregistered firms 5% (maximum Rs. 1 million). A non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 500 by crossed postal or pay order in favour of Director-Admin-POFs, Wah Cantt, must accompany the tender. Successful bidders shall provide a performance bond not exceeding 10% of contract value in the form of deposit at call receipt or unconditional bank guarantee. Tender samples are required unless bidders are established firms with previous satisfactory supply history.
