Description / Scope of Work
Heavy Industries Taxila, through its Supply Chain Management Directorate, invites sealed bids from eligible manufacturers, authorized dealers, distributors, and suppliers for the procurement of one robot gripper unit on a free-on-rail (FOR) basis. The delivery period is four months from the date of contract award. This procurement is conducted under the rules and guidelines of the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) and Ministry of Defence & Production (MoDP). Bidders must possess a valid National Tax Number (NTN) and Sales Tax Registration where applicable. Required supporting documents include photocopies of registration or pre-qualification letters from HIT, DGP, MoDP or government organizations; attested copies of Sales Tax and NTN certificates; audit reports for the last three financial years; attested bank statements covering one year; attested CNIC of the chief executive or director; proof of trade linkage with the original equipment manufacturer for distributors or agents; a non-blacklist certificate on judicial paper worth Rs 100 attested by an oath commissioner; and documentary evidence of contracts executed with government or semi-government organizations in the last three years. A postal order of Rs 2,000 must accompany the technical bid.
Bidders should submit sealed envelopes containing technical and financial proposals to the Supply Chain Management Directorate, HIT Taxila by 10:30 AM on 19 October 2026. Bids will be opened at 11:00 AM on the same date.
