Description / Scope of Work
Heavy Industries Taxila, through its Supply Chain Management Directorate located in Taxila Cantt, Punjab, invites sealed bids from eligible manufacturers, authorized dealers, distributors and suppliers for the procurement of Halon Gas. The tender is issued under Tender No. IT-70141 on a free-on-rail (FOR) basis with a delivery period of six months following contract signing. Bid documents are available on the PPRA website, and the procurement will be conducted in accordance with PPRA and Ministry of Defence Production rules using a single-stage two-envelope evaluation process.
Bidders must possess a valid National Tax Number (NTN) and Sales Tax Registration where applicable. Eligible participants should submit audited financial statements for the last three years, attested bank statements for one year, proof of NTN and Sales Tax registration, attested CNIC of the CEO or Director, and a judicial certificate (on Rs 100 judicial paper) duly attested by an Oath Commissioner confirming the firm is not blacklisted, suspended or debarred by any government organization. Bidders must also provide documentary evidence of contracts executed with government or semi-government organizations within the last three years and trade links with the OEM in case of distributors or agents. A postal order of Rs 2,000 must accompany the technical bid.
Tender documents are available online from the PPRA portal. Sealed bids must be submitted on or before 19 October 2026 at 1030 hours to the Supply Chain Management Directorate, HIT Taxila Cantt. Bid opening will take place on the same day at 1100 hours.
