Description / Scope of Work
The Strategic Management Unit (SMU), School Education Department in Lahore, Punjab invites Expressions of Interest from PEC-registered consulting firms for a massive infrastructure development program across all ten administrative divisions of the province. This high-priority project encompasses comprehensive consultancy services ranging from feasibility studies and detailed architectural design to construction supervision for several key educational initiatives. The scope includes the establishment of approximately 300 STEM laboratories, construction of 1,200 additional classrooms, provision of missing facilities for 1,800 schools, and the reconstruction of 300 dangerous buildings. Furthermore, the firm will oversee the development of Nawaz Sharif Centres of Excellence for Early Childhood Education. The program is divided into three geographical lots centered in Multan, Lahore, and Rawalpindi. Eligible firms must demonstrate significant experience in educational projects, maintain a strong team of engineers and architects, and meet specific financial turnover requirements. The selection process will follow the Quality and Cost Based Selection method in accordance with Punjab Procurement Rules. All submissions must be completed electronically through the EPADS portal no later than 11:00 AM on 11 May 2026.
