This is a major tertiary care hospital EPC contract worth an estimated several hundred million PKR.
The 737-bed, 1.6 million sq. ft. facility in Islamabad requires sophisticated MEP integration and JCI-compliant design. International and joint-venture participation is explicitly welcomed. The October 2026 deadline is tight for document preparation and pre-bid attendance. FIDIC Silver Book terms apply; contractors must verify compliance with PEC requirements and assess their capacity for complex healthcare infrastructure delivery.
Who can bid: Single entities and Joint Ventures are eligible per PPRA Rules 2026 and PEC guidelines. Bidders should typically be PEC-registered in relevant categories (healthcare infrastructure or general construction), hold valid SECP registration and active NTN, and possess demonstrated experience with large-scale EPC projects. Foreign contractors must meet PPRA eligibility criteria. The notice does not specify minimum financial or experience thresholds; these are likely detailed in the full bidding documents.
