For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender, written with AI from the official notice and checked by our quality rules — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
Open auction of industrial scrap (tubewell and vehicle parts) by a government water management authority in Rahim Yar Khan.
Scale appears small to medium — multiple lots, each requiring separate Rs 100k security. Notable: strict 26 October inspection cutoff and same-day 25% payment obligation post-auction; 10-day settlement window for balance creates cash-flow risk. One-off liquidation event, not recurring. Winning bidders absorb all taxes and removal logistics.
Who can bid: Notice states 'all eligible bidders' but does not specify restrictions. Typically, Pakistani scrap buyers need valid NTN, sales tax registration (if applicable), and no bar from government contracts. As a government auction, bidders should verify no debarment exists. PEC category not applicable (non-construction scrap sale).
