Description / Scope of Work
The Directorate of Education (Colleges), Bahawalpur Division, Punjab, invites e-bids from eligible bidders registered on the Punjab e-procurement system for the provision of student tablet chairs to Higher Education Department colleges across Bahawalpur Division. The procurement comprises three lots covering District Bahawalpur (3,758 chairs, value Rs. 16.91 million), District Bahawalnagar (4,452 chairs, value Rs. 20.03 million), and District Rahimyar Khan (1,279 chairs, value Rs. 5.76 million), totalling approximately 9,489 student tablet chairs valued at over Rs. 42.7 million. This is part of the Chief Minister Initiative for Provision of Missing Facilities in Colleges, addressing infrastructure gaps in seven colleges across the three districts.
Eligible bidders must be registered on the Punjab e-procurement portal and shall submit a bid security equal to 5% of the estimated cost through 1LINK or online banking before the closing deadline. Technical samples and brochures for each item are mandatory. Bidders must provide Income Tax and Sales Tax Registration Certificates, bank statements for the preceding three years, and a one-year audit report duly certified by a Chartered Accountant. All applicable taxes will be deducted according to government regulations.
Bids will be processed under the single stage-two envelope procedure in accordance with Punjab Procurement Rules 2014, Rule 38(2)(a). Bids must close on 7 November 2026 at 10:00 AM, with opening scheduled for the same day at 1:00 PM. Late bids will not be accepted. Bid validity extends until 30 June 2027.
