The auction is scheduled to be conducted on 28 October 2026 between 0930 and 1500 hours on an 'As is Where is' basis. Interested bidders and parties will be permitted to view and assess auctionable stores and scrap during 26–27 October 2026 from 0900 to 1500 hours at HIT premises. Eligible bidders must possess original CNIC (with photocopy) for entry to HIT premises; no entry will be permitted without this document. Successful bidders are required to deposit 25 percent of the total sale amount at the spot on the same day, with the remaining 75 percent plus applicable general sales tax, income tax, and other government taxes to be deposited to Government Treasury within the due timeframe according to the latest policy. Auctioned lots must be removed from HIT premises within fifteen working days (excluding auction days) at the bidder's own expense; failure to do so will result in penalty as per existing procedure. HIT is auctioning surplus unserviceable military stores and scrap in Golra on 28 October 2026.
The lot includes security-type stores requiring costly de-militarization by the buyer within fifteen days at own expense—a significant operational burden. This is a one-time disposal; bidders must hold valid CNIC for site access and accept 'as-is' condition. Competitive intensity depends on scrap metal prices and local recycling demand. The de-militarization requirement and tight removal timeline are material cost factors.
Who can bid: Bidders must possess original CNIC for HIT site entry. Successful bidders must provide tax clearance certification, delivery orders, and firm credentials. Typically, Pakistani bidders in scrap/recycling require business registration (SECP or sole proprietor NTN) and tax compliance documentation; the notice does not explicitly state these but they are standard for government disposals.
