Description / Scope of Work
WASA Chakwal invites sealed bids for the construction of PCC sullage carrier and 12-inch diameter precast lined RCC sewer in Mohallah Chishtian near Masjid Pir Shahani, Jadeed Chakwal city, Punjab. The project is valued at Rs. 15,95,823 and is advertised under tender scheme number 155 dated 16 October 2026. Bidding will be conducted through the e-Procurement system in accordance with the Single Stage Single Envelope procedure under Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. All registered contractors on e-PADS for the financial year 2026-27 MRS 2nd Bi Annual are eligible to participate in this infrastructure development initiative for improved water and sanitation services in Chakwal.
Eligible bidders must be registered contractors on e-PADS for 2026-27 and must submit a bid security of Rs. 79,791 (5 percent of estimated cost) from a scheduled bank in Punjab in favour of WASA Chakwal. If the lowest bid is equal to or less than 5 percent below the estimated cost, the successful bidder shall be required to deposit additional performance security ranging from 5 to 10 percent within 15 days of receiving the notice of acceptance. All bids must be item-wise, clearly readable, complete and unambiguous; incomplete or ambiguous bids will be rejected. Fake or forged documents will result in disqualification and blacklisting from WASA Chakwal.
Bid documents are available free of cost on the e-Procurement Portal at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk and on the PPRA Punjab website. Completed bids must be submitted through the e-Procurement system by 12:30 P.M. PST on 10 November 2026, with opening scheduled for 1:00 P.M. PST the same day at WASA Chakwal office. The successful contractor will be required to execute an agreement on government stamp paper within seven days of receiving the acceptance letter for issuance of the work order.
