Description / Scope of Work
The Quaid-i-Azam University in Islamabad, Federal Government invites sealed bids for the high-profile project titled Establishment of China-Pakistan Joint Research Centre on Earth Sciences. This significant Engineering, Procurement, and Construction turnkey contract involves the design and construction of state-of-the-art laboratory buildings, an Innovation and Facilitation Block, and extensive external development works. The project is funded through the Public Sector Development Programme by the Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives. Scope of work includes the integration of specialized laboratory systems, HVAC, and building management infrastructure alongside equipment provided by Chinese partners. Eligibility is strictly limited to Government-Owned Entities registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in Category C-A. Interested bidders must provide a bid security of 15 million Rupees and demonstrate a history of handling major building projects exceeding 1,500 million Rupees in value. All technical and financial proposals must be prepared in accordance with the single-stage, two-envelope procedure and submitted by the deadline of 15 June 2026 to the Project Director's office at Quaid-i-Azam University
