Description / Scope of Work
The Special Security Unit (SSU), Sindh Police in Karachi, Sindh invites sealed bids for the procurement of various plant and machinery items for the financial year 2025-26. This significant procurement drive includes high-value equipment such as 100 KVA, 50 KVA, and 5 KVA generators, professional photocopier machines, ID card printing machines, and advanced surveillance tools including drone cameras with combo sets and photography cameras. The scope also extends to climate control with twenty 1.5-ton and ten 2-ton inverter air conditioners, alongside CCTV camera systems and a 25-horsepower boat engine. Bidding is conducted through the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) following a Single Stage One Envelope procedure. Interested firms must be registered with the relevant tax authorities, including NTN and GST, and demonstrate an active taxpayer status for the last three years. Technical and financial proposals, along with the required bid security for each specific lot, must be submitted electronically via the EPADS portal no later than 02:30 PM on 20 May 2026. Bidders are also required to submit a non-refundable tender fee of 2,000 Rupees per item at the SSU Headquarters.
