Description / Scope of Work
The Directorate General Research and Development Establishment (DGRDE) in Rawalpindi invites sealed bids for the indigenous development of a Mine Delivery System (MDS) Training Simulator. This project focuses on utilizing in-country resources and manufacturing capabilities to create a high-fidelity simulation environment for training purposes. The procurement is conducted following the 'Two Stage Two Envelope Bidding Procedure' as per PPRA Rule 36(d). Eligible firms must be registered with the FBR Income Tax and Sales Tax departments and appear on the Active Taxpayer List. While preference is given to firms already registered with DGRDE or DGDP, un-registered firms can participate provided they complete registration if selected as the most advantageous bidder. The first stage technical bids must be submitted by 11:00 AM on 25 May 2026 at the DGRDE office on Abid Majeed Road. This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance defense training capabilities through localized research and technological development.
