The Punjab Institute of Cardiology, Lahore, has issued a reminder advertisement for the registration of new eligible vendors for the local purchase of medicines, surgical items, and disposables on a day-to-day (LPDD) basis for the 2025-26 financial year. This registration is conducted through the Online Automated Local Purchase System deployed by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) via the EPADS portal. Interested vendors must possess a licensed operational pharmacy within a 10km radius of the hospital and maintain active tax payer status. A performance guarantee of Rs. 50,000 is required in the form of a Pay Order, Bank Draft, or Deposit at Call. Electronic proposals must be submitted through the EPADS system by the specified deadline in June 2026. This initiative aims to enhance vendor competition and ensure the steady supply of medical devices and pharmaceutical goods for the institute's operations.
