Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) invites sealed bids from qualified bidders with relevant experience to supply and develop unit-based frame rates for sync controllers required for the Misrishah Power Setup operating under the Submarine Cable Network domain. The procurement concerns three 500KVA Caterpillar gensets and will be awarded as a one-time contract through competitive bidding based on total cost of ownership (TCO). This tender is issued under PTCL's procurement framework for critical power infrastructure supporting submarine cable network operations in Sindh province.
Bidders must be vendor-registered with PTCL and must provide a valid Vendor Registration Code (VR Code) with their submission. Vendor registration is mandatory and forms are available at https://www.ptcl.com.pk/Info/Vendor-Registration-Form. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond of 5% of the total bid value, submitted as a CDR or demand draft in the name of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited. All quoted rates must be inclusive of all applicable taxes except GST. Bidders should possess technical capability and experience in supplying similar sync controller systems for power generation equipment.
Tender documents are available via email from farjad.mehdi@ptclgroup.com and masaud.shahani@ptclgroup.com until 26 May 2026. Bidders may submit queries and seek clarifications until 2 June 2026. Sealed bids comprising separate Technical Bid, Commercial Bid, and Bid Bond must be submitted on or before 6 June 2026, clearly marked with the tender number R-PROC.5-2026/5005. Bids received after the deadline will not be accepted and will be returned unopened.
