Description / Scope of Work
THQ Hospital Jalalpur Pirwala, Punjab invites electronic bids through the e-Procurement System (EPADS) for framework contracts covering seventeen lots of medical supplies and equipment for the financial year 2026-27. The procurement includes medicine and surgical disposable items, dialysis equipment, pathology lab reagents and items, dental supplies, surgical implants and instruments, general store items, stationery, printing and publications, x-ray films and chemicals, medical gases, office furniture, and installation services for UPS systems and submersible water turbines. The total estimated value across all lots is approximately 31.6 million rupees, with individual lot values ranging from 0.5 to 6.0 million rupees. All contracts will be valid until 30th June 2027, serving LP, UHI, SSP, and Zakat facilities in Jalalpur Pirwala.
Bidders must be registered with relevant tax authorities including Income Tax, Sales Tax, and the Excise and Taxation Department with valid professional tax certificates for FY2026-27. They must be registered on the EPADS e-procurement platform and not blacklisted by any government department or the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority. Bid security of 2% of the estimated price for each lot must be submitted in the form of CDR, bank guarantee, demand draft, or pay order in the name of the Medical Superintendent. Blacklisted bidders may only execute awarded contracts by providing 100% bank guarantee. Government-owned enterprises require proper legal authorization to participate.
Bidding documents are available for download from www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk and the PPRA website at http://ppra.punjab.gov.pk. Electronic bids must be submitted online by 09 June 2026 at 11:00 AM with opening scheduled for the same date at 11:30 AM. The original bid security instruments must be delivered to the Medical Superintendent's office prior to bid submission closure.
