Description / Scope of Work
The University of Shangla, located in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, invites sealed bids from registered, reputable, and specialized firms for the procurement of miscellaneous items and execution of solarization works. The tender encompasses the supply of 20 desktop computers and 5 laptop computers (core i7, 12th generation), installation of two solar systems each rated 20 to 30 KVA capacity, engagement of 8 security guards, and establishment of a canteen facility. Tender reference UoShangla/2026/PROC/MIS-SOL-03 covers procurement of equipment and services for the university campus in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Bidding will follow the Single Stage – Two Envelope Procedure with separate technical and financial proposals required. Bidding firms must be registered with valid NTN, Sales Tax registration (GST/KPRA), and inclusion on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL). A non-blacklisting certificate on judicial stamp paper is mandatory, along with manufacturer authorization letters where applicable. Bid security of 2 percent of the bid cost in the form of bank draft or CDR must accompany the financial proposal, drawn in the name of University of Shangla fee collection account number PK04KHYB0160003005714353. Bids lacking prescribed bid security will be rejected at opening. Prior experience with completion certificates of similar projects in public sector institutions is preferred, and canteen service providers with university-level experience will be given preference.
Bidding documents including detailed contract terms, conditions, and specifications are available from the Office of Treasurer, University of Shangla, during office hours 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM on working days (Monday to Thursday) against a fee of Rs. 5000 per set. Sealed technical and financial proposals must be submitted separately by June 9, 2026 at 1:00 PM. Technical proposals will be opened the same day at 1:30 PM in the Committee Room with bidders and the University Purchase Committee present.
