Description / Scope of Work
The Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) through the Chief Engineer (Operations & Maintenance) at Tarbela 4th Extension Hydel Power Station invites electronic bids from original manufacturers, authorized distributors, suppliers, and contractors for the procurement of spare parts related to the Protection, Instrumentation and Control Section of Tarbela 4 Extension Hydel Power Station. The procurement is offered on F.O.B basis with a contract performance period of 180 days from the date of Letter of Credit establishment. This international e-bid notice is published under the Decade of Dams initiative and is referenced as PRD(L)/WAPDA/376(2025-26), serving the Punjab province's critical hydroelectric infrastructure.
Eligible bidders must be original manufacturers, authorized distributors, suppliers, or contractors registered with the Pakistan Income Tax and Sales Tax Department and must maintain active status on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Each bidder is required to furnish a bid security of PKR 300,000 in the form of a CDR (Call Deposit Receipt) payable to the Chief Engineer (O&M), T4 Extension Hydel Power Station, WAPDA Tarbela. The original bid security document must reach the office on or before the bid submission closing time. All bidders must comply with PPRA rules and regulations for electronic procurement.
Detailed e-bidding documents containing comprehensive terms and conditions, procurement methodology, evaluation criteria, bid validity requirements, and performance guarantee details are available to registered bidders on the EPADS portal at www.eprocure.gov.pk. Electronic bids must be prepared according to instructions in the e-bidding documents and submitted via EPADS as per rule-13 on or before 07.07.2026 at 1100 hours. Manual bids will not be accepted. E-bids will be opened on the same day at 1130 hours in the presence of bidders and representatives at Officer's Club, Riverview Colony, Tarbela.
