Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Railways Sukkur invites open auction for standardized design vending stalls, branded bakers, and miscellaneous facilities at multiple railway stations across Sindh province. The auction will be held at 11:00 AM on the notified date and encompasses contracts to be completed within three months at four primary locations: Rohri Station, Rahmyarkhan Station, Nasarabad Station, and Mehrabpur Station. The scope includes four branded baker outlets at Rohri, vending stalls of ghodu at Sadiqabad, multiple vending and parking facilities at Rahmyarkhan, vending stalls with ice contract and branded baker outlets at Nawabshah, and vending and parking stands at Mehrabpur. All facilities will be valued with addition on the part of the restaurant at Rohri Station, with all expenses borne by the winning party.
All successful bidders must deposit 30% of bid value in advance on auction day. Bids must include cash orders of Rs 10,000 for A-class stations, Rs 20,000 for B-class stations, and Rs 10,000 for C-class stations as security money in favor of the Divisional Accounts Officer, Pakistan Railways Sukkur, issued by any scheduled bank or in hard cash. Contractors must be Pakistani nationals or firms with active tax payer certificates and no government department blacklisting. Technical pre-qualification criteria will be evaluated at 100 hours before auction; qualified firms participate at 14:00 hours the same day. The contract duration is 05 years for vending stalls and restaurants with extendable mutual consent.
Auction forms on non-refundable fee of Rs 1,000 can be obtained from the commercial branch DS Office, Sukkur, from publication date until auction closing. Detailed terms, conditions, and pre-qualification criteria are available from the Divisional Superintendent Office, Sukkur. For maintaining food quality inspections, internal and external authority oversight will be observed. Contractors can contact the undersigned for further information. The Railway department reserves rights to accept or reject any or all bids without assigning reason.
