Description / Scope of Work
The Pakistan Meteorological Department, Indent and Purchase Section in Karachi, Sindh, invites electronic bids for the procurement of machinery equipment including engraving machines, belt dicsanders, and CNC milling machines for the financial year 2025–26. This is a national competitive procurement conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS v2.0) using the Single Stage-One Envelope method with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in compliance with the Public Procurement Rules 2004. The procuring agency has reserved dedicated funds to cover eligible payments under the contract for this machinery equipment purchase.
Bidders must meet eligibility criteria as specified in the bidding documents and are required to provide bid security in the form of a Pay Order as described in the Bid Data Sheet, or alternatively submit a Bid Security Declaration if not required by the procuring agency. All prospective bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 prior to submission. The bidding documents, containing detailed terms, conditions, specifications, technical requirements, and evaluation criteria, are available electronically on the EPADS platform at https://vendors.epads.gov.pk/.
Registration on EPADS v2.0 must be completed on or before Sunday, June 7, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Electronic bids will be opened on the same date at 11:30 AM using the EPADS v2.0 platform; manual bid submissions will not be accepted.
