Description / Scope of Work
Karachi Metropolitan Corporation Engineering Department invites sealed bids for the installation of solar LED street lights at internal streets of Ibrahim Hyderi District in Malir, Karachi, Sindh. This is a capital works project with an estimated cost of Rs. 19.02 million. The scope encompasses the complete supply, installation, and commissioning of solar-powered LED street lighting systems across designated internal streets in the Ibrahim Hyderi area, improving public safety and reducing energy consumption through renewable energy technology.
Bidders must possess valid contractor registration with the relevant authorities and appropriate experience in electrical and solar installation works. A bid security equivalent to 5% of the estimated cost (approximately Rs. 951,000) is required from all participating bidders. The tender cost for obtaining bidding documents is Rs. 5,000, which is non-refundable.
Interested bidders can obtain complete bidding documents from the KMC Engineering Department office. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes before the closing date of June 9, 2026. The bid opening will take place as per the tender schedule.
