Description / Scope of Work
District Council Rawalpindi invites sealed bids for four maintenance and rehabilitation civil works schemes under single stage single envelope procurement process as per PPRA rules. The schemes include rehabilitation and improvement of Muharram Routes with patch work and drainage sewerage in various union councils (estimated cost PKR 42.82 million), rehabilitation of street from Main Hadot Road towards main Street in Tehsil Murree (estimated cost PKR 32.72 million), provision of street light items across the district (estimated cost PKR 34.66 million), and grubbing of wild growth in graveyards and open plots on risk and cost basis (estimated cost PKR 40.78 million). All works are located within the jurisdiction of District Council Rawalpindi in Punjab province.
Only approved contractors registered with relevant authorities are eligible to participate in this bidding process. Bidders must submit 5% earnest money in the form of Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) to the District Council office before 02:00 PM on 08-06-2026. Rates must be quoted item-wise in figures on the E-PADs portal as per PPRA rules. Bids containing overwriting, cutting, tempering, doubtful or incomplete information will be rejected. If the lowest bid exceeds estimated cost by more than 5%, the bidder must deposit performance security within 15 days or forfeit the earnest money.
Bidding documents are available on the PPRA website and E-PADs portal from the date of publication until 08-06-2026 at 11:00 AM. All bids must be submitted electronically on E-PADs before the closing deadline. Bid opening will occur on the same date at 02:00 PM at the District Council Rawalpindi office in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Contractors must install caution boards at work sites regarding safety precautions.
