Description / Scope of Work
Jamshoro Power Company Limited invites tenders for the procurement of coal under a One Year Long Term Coal Supply Agreement (LTCSA) on an on-demand basis. The tender covers Type-1 Design Grade Sub-Bituminous Coal and Type-2 API-4 Grade Sub-Bituminous Coal for the FPP Jamshoro power generation facility, located in Sindh province. The supply is scheduled for one year from the date of contract signing in accordance with NEPRA guidelines and Section 4 Schedule of Requirements, with an estimated demand of 660 MW Coal requirement capacity from the Ministry of Energy Power Division Islamabad. This is an open tender available to all registered coal suppliers and contractors meeting the eligibility criteria prescribed in the tender document.
Bidders must be registered with FPWRA EPA405, registered and taxpaying with FBR for FY 2025-26, and maintain an active taxpayer status for IT and GST purposes. Eligible bidders must follow NEPRA guidelines, have no conflict of interest, and not be blacklisted or debarred by any public or private organization. The bid security shall be in the form of CDR or Pay Order Bank Guarantee for Two Million in favour of JPCL, with 90 days validity from the bid opening date. One year contract validity is required from the date of contract signing.
Bid documents will be available electronically from Monday 25-05-2025 and can be downloaded from the JPCL website www.jpcl.com.pk and PPRA EPA405 portal. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Tuesday 02-06-2025 at 1130 hrs at JPCL Conference Room 1st Floor Main Admin Building TPS Jamshoro via Zoom. Bids must be submitted through EPADS on or before 1100 hrs on Wednesday 10-06-2025, with opening scheduled for the same date at 1130hrs in the presence of bidders.
