Description / Scope of Work
The Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) of the Government of Punjab invites sealed bids for the construction of a laboratory facility at the Government Vocational Training Institute for Women (GVTIW) in Chakwal, Punjab. The estimated project cost is PKR 3,326,315 (3.326 Million), with an execution timeframe of 90 days. This single-stage, one-envelope procurement is being conducted through the E-PADS (E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System) platform following the accumulative cost basis least cost method. The facility will be located opposite the U.P Church at Tehsil Chowk Chakwal and is designed to enhance vocational training infrastructure for women in the region.
Eligibility requirements stipulate that bidders must be contractors or firms registered and active with Punjab E-PAD, PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council), FBR (Federal Board of Revenue), and PRA for the current financial year. Bidders must hold a valid PEC license in category C5 or above with relevant civil and electrical specialization codes. An undertaking on stamp paper worth PKR 300 confirming the firm is not blacklisted by TEVTA must be submitted. Bid security of PKR 166,316 (5 percent of estimated cost) is required in the form of a CDR, bank draft, cashier's cheque, or pay order payable to TEVTA Non Salary. The performance guarantee will be 10 percent of the contract amount.
Bid documents are available on the E-PADS portal at http://punjabeprocure.govt.pk and the PPRA website at http://ppra.punjab.gov.pk. Tender submissions must be made electronically through E-PADS by 15 June 2026 at 10:30 AM; manual bids will not be accepted. Technical bids will be opened on 15 June 2026 at 11:00 AM, with financial bids opened subsequently after technical evaluation.
