Description / Scope of Work
The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Khushab invites sealed e-tenders through the EPADS portal for the supply of one sullage pump with diesel engine and trolley under the approved development scheme MRS 1st Bi Annual 2026, covering the period from 1st January 2026 to 30th June 2026. The estimated bid cost for this procurement is PKR 3,557,500 with a completion period of 15 days. Tenders are being floated for rates or percentages above or below the approved DNIT (Detailed Niab and Item Tender). This is a fully funded scheme with no price variation cushion or throw-forward permitted to the next financial year.
Participants must be registered contractors or firms holding a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) license in the relevant category for the year 2025-26. All bidders are mandatorily required to register on the Punjab PPRA website at www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk. Interested contractors must upload earnest money as a CDR (Call Deposit Receipt) at 5% of the estimated cost (PKR 177,875) in favor of the Deputy Director (Engineering), WASA Khushab, with the original CDR to be physically submitted one hour before bid opening. Failure to submit the original CDR within the stipulated time will result in disqualification or rejection as non-responsive.
Bids must be submitted through EPADS by 11:00 AM on 11th June 2026, with opening scheduled for 11:30 AM on the same date at the office of the Deputy Director (Engineering), WASA Khushab, District Water Testing Laboratory near Bhatti Hospital on Jauharabad Road, Khushab (contact: 0326-1096012). Quoted rates must be item-wise or percentage-wise; incomplete bids will not be entertained. PPRA Rules 2014 and amendments will be strictly enforced. The bidders or their representatives must attend the opening ceremony where rates will be retrieved and announced. Performance guarantees, where required, must be in the form of pay orders, bank drafts, cash, or bank guarantees valid three months beyond completion. Insurance company guarantees are not acceptable.
