This document is a revised contract form for the execution of work updated on 16 November 2022, issued by the Government of Punjab. It serves as the standard tender and procurement documentation for construction, civil works, and service contracts across Punjab province. Eligibility criteria require tenderers to be registered contractors with appropriate licenses from relevant professional bodies. Bidders must submit earnest money deposits as specified in individual tender notices and meet technical and financial qualification requirements. Quality Assurance Security requirements are mandated under Clause 26A, and all contractors must demonstrate capability to provide whole-time qualified technical personnel for work supervision. Tenderers must comply with all statutory regulations, obtain necessary permits, and ensure proper safety arrangements including lighting and fencing at work sites.
Bid documents must be obtained from the issuing department as per individual tender notices. Sealed tenders should be submitted at the specified location and date mentioned in the respective tender notice. The contract form prescribes procedures for tender opening, evaluation, and award notification. Tenderers are advised to carefully review all clauses including assignment restrictions, subletting prohibitions, material quality standards, and workmanship requirements.
