Description / Scope of Work
The Municipal Committee Kot Chutta invites sealed electronic bids for the supply and erection of tentage equipment on rent basis, installation of Sabeel, and supply and installation of electric material for the arrangements of Muharram-ul-Haram 2026 along designated Muharram routes under the jurisdiction of MC Kot Chutta in Punjab. The estimated project cost is PKR 12,63,000 with a completion period as per work order. This procurement is intended to support the religious and community arrangements for the significant Islamic observance in the region.
Eligible bidders must be registered or renewed with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category. Prospective bidders are required to submit earnest money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) from any scheduled bank amounting to 5% of the estimated cost (PKR 63,150). All bids must be submitted in PDF format through the Electronic Procurement System (EPADS) platform as per PPRA Rules 2024. Original CDR documents must be produced to the Chief Officer on or before the closing time of the bid, accompanied by the letterhead of the applicant or firm.
Bid documents prepared in accordance with instructions in the bidding document must be uploaded on EPADS on or before June 10, 2026 by 02:00 PM. Bids will be opened on the same date at 02:30 PM through the EPADS platform at the Municipal Committee office. The procurement will follow a Single Stage One Envelope Bidding Procedure through Open Competitive Bidding Method and will be evaluated based on the least cost method.
