Municipal Committee Gujar Khan invites item rate tenders for making arrangements for the Independence Day Festival on 14th August 2026. The estimated cost of the project is PKR 2,143,000. The scope includes all necessary arrangements for the festival celebration in Gujar Khan, Punjab. Bid documents are available on the EPADs portal and PPRA website, and can also be purchased from the MO(I) branch upon payment of a printing fee of Rs. 5,000. The tender is being floated in accordance with the Technical Sanctioned rates per MRS 2nd Biannual 2026 and prevailing market rates.
Eligible bidders must hold a valid PEC license in category C-6 or above, possess a certificate of registration with active income tax and active sales tax from relevant authorities, and submit an undertaking on stamped paper that the firm is not blacklisted. The bid security is 5% of the estimated cost, equivalent to Rs. 107,150. In case the lowest bid quoted rates are equal to or less than 5% of estimated cost, the lowest bidder must deposit additional performance security ranging from 5% to 10%, including any CDR deposited during tendering. Conditional, incomplete, cutting, overwritten, and doubtful bids will be summarily rejected.
Bid documents must be submitted on EPADs by 12-08-2026 at 1:00 PM. All received bids will be opened on the same date at 1:30 PM in the office of Municipal Committee Gujar Khan by the tender opening committee in the presence of available contractors or their authorized representatives. The successful contractor must execute an agreement on government-specified stamp paper within fourteen days of receiving the acceptance letter, failing which the work order will not be issued. The completion period will be specified in the work order after approval of the lowest bidder's rates. Bidders are strongly advised to upload their bids well before the submission deadline and not wait for the last date and time, as bid submission responsibility rests entirely with the bidder.
