Description / Scope of Work
The Executive Engineer Building Division Sahiwal, under the Communication and Works Department of Punjab Building Department (Central Zone), invites item rate-based tenders for the provision of Pakistan Energy Label NEECA approved copper-wound ceiling fans. The project involves supply and installation of 283 number fans of 56-inch diameter, including necessary cables and hardware for connection as approved by the Engineer-in-charge. The estimated cost of the works is PKR 26,80,392 and the project duration is 10 days. The tender is open to contractors and firms enlisted or renewed with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the current financial year in the relevant category. All work is to be executed in Sahiwal, Punjab province.
Prospective bidders must submit earnest money in the form of a Bank CDR (Certificate of Deposit Receipt) equal to 5 percent of the estimated cost, amounting to PKR 1,34,020, to the office of the Executive Engineer, Buildings Division Sahiwal before the bid submission deadline. The original bid security instrument must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the bidding document number and title. Conditional tenders and bids not accompanied with earnest money shall be rejected. Only contractors and firms with valid PEC registration for the current financial year are eligible to participate.
Bidders must submit complete electronic bids online through the e-Procurement System (EPADS) at https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk on 09 June 2026 by 11:00 AM, with opening scheduled for the same day at 11:30 AM. Bidding documents are immediately available after publication date. The Department shall not be responsible for any costs incurred by bidders or technical issues related to the EPADS portal.
