Description / Scope of Work
This tender invites sealed competitive bids for the installation of a tube well along with allied work at Behrampur in Pakpattan City, Punjab. The project has an approximate cost of Rs. 11.237 Million with a contract period of two months. The scope of work includes comprehensive investigation of water sources through electric resistivity surveys, boring and drilling operations up to 250 feet depth, installation of fiber glass strainers and mild steel blind pipes, water sample collection and testing from PHE Department laboratory, well logging including SPR and SP logging, and development and testing of the completed tube well. The work also encompasses construction of a pump house with foundations, brick masonry, cement concrete work, reinforced concrete roof slab, steel windows and doors, painting and finishing, along with supply and installation of a vertical turbine pumping unit capable of discharging 1.00 cusec against a total dynamic head of 200 feet with a 50 BHP three-phase electric motor.
Eligible contractors must possess valid contractor licenses and technical expertise in tube well installation and pump house construction. Bidders are required to submit earnest money of Rs. 0.562 Million with their bids. All bids must include detailed rate schedules with quantities specified in the bid documents, including costs for drilling, materials, labour, testing, and machinery supply and installation. The bid documents contain comprehensive specifications and drawings for all items of work.
