Description / Scope of Work
The Program Implementation Unit (PIU) under the Capacity Building for Nursing and Allied Health Professionals (CBN&HP) initiative, within the Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department of the Government of the Punjab, invites electronic bids from eligible firms, suppliers, authorized dealers, and general order suppliers for the procurement of IT equipment including laptops and related accessories. The procurement is being conducted in accordance with the Punjab Procurement Authority Act 2009 and Punjab Procurement Rules 2014, using a Single Stage One Envelope procedure with Least Cost Method. The estimated procurement value is approximately Rs. 8,000,000 (as indicated by the bid security of Rs. 400,000 representing 5% of estimated price). Bidders must be duly registered with relevant tax authorities and possess valid NTN and PST registrations to participate in this procurement process.
Eligible bidders include associations of firms, companies, sole proprietors, suppliers, authorized dealers, authorized distributors, and general order suppliers registered with relevant Registration Authorities and Tax Departments. Bidders must not be associated with firms engaged to provide consultancy services for preparation of specifications, must not be blacklisted by the Procuring Agency or PPRA, and government-owned enterprises may participate only if legally authorized. The bid security of Rs. 400,000 must be submitted in the form of a CDR, Demand Draft, or Pay Order in favor of the Program Director and delivered physically to the PIU office before bid closure, with a scanned copy uploaded on the EPADS portal. Unsuccessful bidders will have their bid security returned upon request after procurement completion.
Bids must be submitted electronically through the PPRA Portal e-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (EPADS) at https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk/ on or before June 9, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Tender documents and bidding documents are available for download from the websites of the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (https://www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk), EPADS, and the Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department (https://health.punjab.gov.pk/Tenders.aspx). A pre-bid meeting will be held on June 1, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the PIU office. Bids will be opened through EPADS by the Evaluation Committee on June 9, 2026 at 11:30 AM.
