Description / Scope of Work
Kohat Irrigation Division, under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Irrigation Department, invites electronic bids from eligible firms and contractors for desilting of critical waterways across the province. The procurement encompasses three desilting projects in District Hangu: desilting of Police Algada in reaches with an estimated cost of PKR 1.50 million, desilting of Aster Algada in reaches valued at PKR 1.00 million, and desilting of Custom Algada in reaches at PKR 1.50 million. All works must be completed as per work orders issued by the department. The tender is advertised through the E-PADs system following single stage one envelope procedure in compliance with KPPRA procurement rules 2014.
Eligible bidders must have valid renewal registration with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority for the financial year 2025-26. Each bidder is required to submit bid security equivalent to two percent of the estimated cost as a deposit at call (original document) along with their bid submission. The bid security will be retained by the employer until approval of the contract agreement by the competent authority. Bidders must acknowledge that funds release depends upon provincial government policy and no claims regarding payment delays shall be entertained.
Bid solicitation documents are available for download from the department website (www.irrigation.gkp.pk) and KPPRA website (www.kppra.gov.pk). Bidders must upload their complete bids on the E-PADs system on an above/below basis against the BOQ and Engineer's Estimate. Electronic bids will be submitted until 12:00 noon on 10 June 2026 and opened at 12:30 PM the same day. In case of public holidays or force majeure, bid opening will be deferred to the next working day.
