Concrete Lining of 3R/2L Minor Canal by Punjab Irrigation Department

The Punjab Irrigation Department, Sahiwal Irrigation Zone, invites tenders for concrete lining of a 3R/2L minor canal from RD 0+000 to RD 09+000, with the working reach extending from RD 02+250 to RD 10+000. The estimated project cost is Rs. 26.254 million. This canal lining work falls under the Pakpattan district irrigation infrastructure and is advertised under the Single Stage-One Envelope bidding procedure on an item rate basis. The tender is issued under the 1st Bi-Annual Market Rate System (1st January 2026 to 30th June 2026) with rates approved by the Competent Authority as per the Punjab E-Procurement System and PPRA Rules 2014.

Eligible bidders must be engineering firms or contractors licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) with the appropriate specialization code. Bidders are required to register with the Punjab e-Procurement System at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk and possess valid PEC registration for 2026-27. Bid security of Rs. 1.313 million (5% of estimated cost) must be deposited digitally through the Punjab e-Procurement System only. No manual bid security, CDR, or bank guarantees will be accepted. All bidders must provide complete rate analysis and fill all entries in the DNIT and BOQ pages; incomplete bids will be declared non-responsive.

Bidding documents are available on the Punjab e-Procurement System and PPRA website at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk free of cost. Bid submission deadline is 12.08.2026 at 12:30 PM through the online portal. Tender opening will occur on 12.08.2026 at 01:00 PM at the office of the Executive Engineer, Eastern Bar Canal Division, Pakpattan, in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. The successful bidder must execute a performance guarantee of 10% of the contract amount and provide a time-bound execution schedule within 15 days of acceptance letter issuance.
