Description / Scope of Work
The Local Government and Rural Development Department Peshawar invites sealed tenders through EPADS for four major infrastructure development projects in rural areas of Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The projects include improvement of basic infrastructure and street lights at Lala Kalay, Mera Kechori, and Chamkani (estimated cost 76 million rupees), sanitation scheme with DWSS facilities at Wadpaga, Urmar, and Chamkani (74 million rupees), street pavements with drains and culverts at Urmar, Lala Kalay, and Pakha Ghulam (77 million rupees), and pavement of streets with allied infrastructure at Mera Kechori, Chamkani, Wadpaga, and Lala Kalay (73 million rupees). The total project value across all four contracts exceeds 300 million rupees, aimed at enhancing rural connectivity and basic service infrastructure across multiple union councils.
Eligible contractors must be registered with the Public Procurement Commission and enlisted with the Construction and Works Department as per the Centralized Enlistment Policy of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Bid security at two percent of the estimated cost is required for each contract, payable as call deposit in favour of the Assistant Director, Local Government and Rural Development Peshawar. Bids will remain valid for 120 days from the closing date, and securities shall be managed according to KPPRA notifications issued on 29 October 2025 and 10 May 2022.
Bid solicitation documents are available for download from the EPADS website at www.eprocure.gov.pk. Contractors must submit both technical and financial proposals through EPADS to the Office of Assistant Director at Bacha Khan Chowk, Peshawar via registered courier before 18 June 2026 at 12:30 PM. Technical bid opening will follow at 2:00 PM on the same date, with financial bid opening scheduled after technical evaluation approval. Online clarifications are permitted until 5 June 2026. All additions to tender terms and conditions shall be implemented as per KPPRA Act and Rules.
